...our Repair Café
Come to the Opening Repair Meeting on Saturday, August 30, 2025 from 4:00 pm at Wurzner Straße 20, 04315 Leipzig, to repair together and spend time with others!
We will end the evening with a concert and drinks starting at 8:00 pm.
With our open workshop we want to extend the life of products by repairing them.
The offer is for all people in Leipzig who would like to give their objects or clothes a second chance.
Often, repair seems difficult. The reasons can be: missing tools, lack of knowledge about the broken object, no space to work, little confidence in skills, or just no motivation.
With the open workshop we want to reduce these barriers. Every person can overcome them here.
The question of why objects are thrown away instead of repaired is not only a technical one.
That is why we try to create a pleasant atmosphere, so it is easy to come by.
At the moment we can offer tools for repairing bicycles, textiles and small electronic devices such as mobile phones or electric toothbrushes.
For these areas we have enough tools. For other repair projects we might also find the right tools.
If you are not sure whether we can help or have the right tool, please contact us first.
In the future, we would like to create a concept where skills can be shared and new interests discovered.
Topics like sustainability, art or music can be part of this.
